This Board was made to cheapen the cost of buying two different boards and to make a Tekbots robot for student to buy for cheap.
Tasked with integrating my USB-C ESP32 board into a pre-existing robot controller to create a more compact, cost-effective, and Mac-compatible design for future use in ENGR100 classes. The board consolidated motor drivers, sensor interfaces, and ESP32 control onto a single PCB intended for TekBots kits. Though untested, the design was approved for future production.
Using KiCad, I merged schematics and BOMs from Don Heer’s original board and my previous design. I removed redundant components, fit in the ESP32S section, and reorganized the PCB using OSH Park standards. After peer review and DRC cleanup, I submitted the final files for ordering.
